What does it mean to be a "Real Man" in XXI century?

Obraz
„A Real Man” - such phrase makes you think of somebody like Rambo, but it’s not quite actual, nowadays those Rambo-like qualities are not the ones most valued. A real man of XXI century is quite the opposite - caring, resourceful, polite, faithful respectful to other people, their work and views, yet ready to stand in defense of his values, or somebody in need without a single doubt. They prefer to solve problems smart, not with physical strength. Summing up, person you could call a real man now is just somebody you know you can count on in every situation, and you would know they would be there for you any time you needed them.

The Tree of Life - Brief review

Obraz
The Tree of Life, narrated by David Attenborough is a great clip showing in a nutshell the essence of theory of evolution. As the presenter explains the stages and history of life evolution on Earth, and the correlation between each group of organisms, we are presented with very pleasant animations, that complement the narration perfectly. In addition to that, I very appreciate that the presentation is strongly backed by scientific research done in recent years, and its credibility is unquestioned, thus being very reliable source of information for people.

Would I like to work in Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Obraz
I don’t think I would like to work in this Hotel, because I don’t consider myself suited for such place. I wouldn’t be comfortable with wearing suit every day, or fancy uniform like the doormen do. I would feel weird and quite awkward. Also, I’m not quite fond of bending my neck all the time and fulfilling wildest dreams of anybody, even if I’m paid adequately. It’s just not me, and I think that knowing myself and the reality in that hotel, I would just not be the right person to work there.

Is it possible that we will stop being a throwaway society?

Obraz
The possibility of us stopping to be a throwaway society is very low, and that is mainly thanks to our economy. Over the years, we came to using many things only once, which is a motor to the market - there is high demand for new things, new technology is developed, money flows, people have jobs, and everyone is happy. You can’t change this in a blink of an eye. Corporations would protest, because if someone forced them to produce more durable, and repairable things, they would lose money from revenue, fire workers. In the summary, the chance for changing this mindset is low, because we as humans wouldn’t be able to evolve both technologically, and economically if not for it.

Why in the age of science do so many people believe in supernatural things?

Obraz
In my humble opinion, the main cause for people’s belief in supernatural things is their lack of understanding of science that denies them. Present-day science is so complex, and so difficult, that It can’t be understood by each of us alone. That’s why whole world develops it, but it should be whole world’s scientists job as well, to deliver it to plain citizens. To make them understand it, even simplified, so that people didn’t need to turn to belief in supernatural things to explain phenomenas. When we make the society aware of science that lies in the basics of our world, people might abandon those silly beliefs. There is much truth to those words... None of known science would be discovered if not people who wondered about unknown...

Who /or what/ is to blame for the modern epidemics of obesity

Obraz
The modern-day obesity problem is a result of wide availability of invaluable food and tremendous amounts of sugar we consume. Right now, it’s very hard to stick to healthy limits of sugar amount, because almost every product we buy in the supermarket contains added sugars, which sum up to unhealthy amount in our bodies. Additionally, maintaining healthy diet and variety neither is possible, because nutritionally valuable meals often reach humungous prices. All in all, problem of obesity wouldn’t be that critical if not for these two main factors. http://www.holisticvanity.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sugar.jpg

Should people spend money on space exploration?

Obraz
Yes, they should, and what’s more, I think It might be essential for us as human race to survive. Right now, on earth we have 7.6 billion people, and still growing. We can’t expand much more here on Earth, because we will simply run out of supplies or start fighting over them and launch nukes at each other. That’s why It’s essential for us to keep funding space exploration, and one day become multiplanetary species - It’s our only hope for persistence. Keep it up SpaceX <3  Basically, we should follow what SpaceX is doing, and combine our wealth to achieve common goal of making our way to the stars <3  Btw, A full-scale Space Race v.2 would also be an awesome thing to experience :)
