Who /or what/ is to blame for the modern epidemics of obesity

The modern-day obesity problem is a result of wide availability of invaluable food and tremendous amounts of sugar we consume. Right now, it’s very hard to stick to healthy limits of sugar amount, because almost every product we buy in the supermarket contains added sugars, which sum up to unhealthy amount in our bodies. Additionally, maintaining healthy diet and variety neither is possible, because nutritionally valuable meals often reach humungous prices. All in all, problem of obesity wouldn’t be that critical if not for these two main factors.

  1. Check the meaning of 'invaluable' as the phrase 'invaluable food' sounds odd in this context.
What exactly is the function of 'neither' in this phrase: "maintaining healthy diet and variety neither is possible"?

    1. Yes, you're right, I should've put worthless instead. And in the sentence you quoted I meant that maintaining healthy diet and variety isn't possible too, in reference to previous thought about maintaining healthy sugar limit. I think I misused this word too.
